What We Do

Radio Bible Stories

The broadcast of Chronological Bible Stories are very popular with listeners in the villages, and are an important means for planting the seed of the gospel into the hearts and minds of those who listen. Each story is recorded in the local language and averages 12 to 15 minutes in length. With our main partner station, Radio Wassulu, two stories are broadcast each week on Wednesday evenings. The story cycle is completed every 30 weeks, and is repeated to cover each of the 52 weeks during a year.

Thanks to generous gifts from churches and individuals, the stories are broadcast and God is using them to reveal His truth and make a difference in the hearts of those who listen.

One employee at the radio station shared the following news:
“During our open house,, we invited people from all over the region to stop by for a visit and tell us what they liked. Many people came and commented on the Bible stories, telling us how much they enjoy listening to them. They told us we must continue broadcasting the stories.”

And…

“The other day, a local religious leader stopped by to tell me that he is listening to the Bible stories. He said, ‘there is much truth in them, and we must continue to broadcast the stories so our people can listen.”
