Church Development
Mission10:14 aims to plant Biblical churches that worship and magnifiy Christ and are able to reproduce themselves among their people, other villages, and ultimately among other people groups (cross-cultural missions). In other words, we choose to work cross-culturally to lead people groups to also become cross-cultural communicators of the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Therefore, we don’t want to just plant churches—we want to see them grow and mature. Recognizing this is the work of the Holy Spirit, we also recognize that God’s people are His chosen instruments for communicating the truth of Scripture and helping to establish the church. Our work is simple: Share the good news and work the fields for as long as it takes to see the church established among a people group. This endeavor leads us to engage through a long-term, sustained commitment.
Transformational Projects By putting faith into action (James 2:17), and by caring for the poor through practical, hands-on initiatives, Mission10:14 and its volunteers seek to live our their calling with Kingdom impact. Transformational projects are an opportunity to demonstrate the believer’s transformed life in Christ, and serve as an opportunity for sharing good news cross-culturally to those who have never heard.
With transformational projects, we aim to improve a targeted aspect of the life of a village. Through strategic partnerships, we are able to determine which needs are the most crucial, and therefore, implement initiatives that will have the greatest level of impact. In so doing, our projects help transform life at the most basic levels: food, health, and education.
